People already lining up for Iphone 6 LOL

I honestly have no idea why I tick so many people off here. I don't use personal insults, I don't use profanity...I don't even use caps and exclamation points. Why are you people so upset over my opinion?

Because you have 0 objectivity, you completely ignore facts when they are presented to you, you have pre conceived notions, you are extremely biased.

Maybe if you were open and didn't tact this way, you wouldn't upset people, but you're just blatantly trolling.

No, they are not the same. Even if they were the same, you asked for one feature, so don't try to play semantics.
The fact that you have to nitpick one feature into two says all that needs to be said. Here is a list of Android features Apple still does not have.

- 3rd party app integration
- No size limits on downloads from the Market over cell networks
- Sideloading without jailbreaking (unrestricted media)
- Alternative markets
- No censorship
- Desktop widgets
- Remote app install
- File manager and file system without jailbreaking
- Real NFC support

...and...
- No Google Apps are required to use any Android phone

This is not even including hardware options Android phones often have, like SD expansion or removable batteries. Congratulations though. You've managed to list "two" (lol) features Android sort-of does not have yet.

So what? Why does it bother you if I am not objective? Why get upset about it?

If someone is not objective then they won't listen to reason and it's essentially like talking to a brick wall, meaning that there's no actual discussing taking place. Which is what's been happening in this thread.

You can add this one to it.

Always funny to see Apple people trying to pretend skinned phones are real Android. When unburdened by a vendor skin, Android blows away iOS.

Sure the nexus can matchup well against it, no doubt, but the video I posted pits the iPhone against other flagship android devices and beats it.

The majority of the android market is skinned, the nexus is not, so in most cases the iPhone should be faster than an android device. However, this video shows that stock android is faster than iOS.

And you are objective, right?

Of course, I'm not biased, I've been on android, windows and iOS. I'm the type of person who doesn't care what OS or device someone has and doesn't hold hatred in my heart for a technology company.

Not nitpicking, as they are two different features.
IOS now has 3rd party app integration.
I'm not familiar with size limits.
Side loading is ok, but can be dangerous.
Why are alternative markets needed?
Censorship?
Desktop widgets are no big deal. According to surveys, most people don't use them. But for some, I guess that they are a big deal.
I don't know what that means.
I don't need a file manager, along with the great majority of smartphone users.
iOS has NFC for Apple Pay (which will finally put paying with NFC in the mainstream, which Google couldn't do), and has Airdrop and AirPlay to communicate between devices.

We can both cherry pick the videos all day
Well...I can. I provided 3 and you provided one.

The iPhone 6 has had a year of development time over the Nexus 5 and costs twice as much...it should be wiping the floor with the Nexus. But thats not what is happening.

IOS now has 3rd party app integration.
No it does not. It has a crippled version of it that only works with keyboards. You cannot change any other default...not maps or browser or email or launcher or lockscreen or anything else.

I'm not familiar with size limits.
Let me familiarize you then.
Apple Boosts Over-the-Air App Store Download Limits to 50 MB - Mac Rumors

Side loading is ok, but can be dangerous.
So you think you are incapable of deciding for yourself when to use it?

Why are alternative markets needed?
Why should you not be allowed to use alternative markets? I can think of one reason to use them...and that is:

Censorship?
Censorship.

iPhone Apps Banned or Removed

Desktop widgets are no big deal.
Yeah, we used to hear that about large display sizes and replaceable keyboards. Are notification widgets a big deal? Or did they magically become a big deal once they got an Apple logo?

I don't know what that means.
Remote app install means I can install any app I own to any Android device with my gmail account on it from any PC. I can pick and choose specific devices (it's not merely a syncing service).

I don't need a file manager, along with the great majority of smartphone users.
Therefore, it is ok for Apple to forbid you to have one.

iOS has NFC for Apple Pay
And nothing else. On Android the developers (not google) get to decide what NFC is used for. Superbeam is a good example, and would not be limited to Android devices...you could use something like that with any platform. Top 5 NFC Uses on Android (Sorry iPhone Users) - Nullmag

NFC is also what allos the Nexus to have wireless charging...one more thing the iPhone does not have.

Your video showed benchmarks, not actual real-world use.

And frankly, the multicore score difference even in the benchmarks is kind of pathetic...only a 200 point difference on a phone that is a year(!) newer and costs twice as much?

2.3 quadcore with 2gb RAM vs. dual core with 1gb RAM? You're right, it is pathetic for the Nexus.
