I was demonstrating another area where Apple has been lagging behind Android.

There is nothing about Android 2.0 that was a pleasure to use. Lagging, freezing, locking up, and reboots and battery pulls, just to name a few issues. It was not until Jelly Bean that Android had a good, manageable, fairly issue free OS. Now, if you are just talking about ppi, I'll give you that.

The iPhone had plenty of issues as well. Even in the UI. The iPhone UI was a lot smoother than Android at the time, but it was far from perfect. And was a lot more limited.

This is the first iOS update I can remember that only works on the previous 2 (not 3) phone versions.

iOS8 adoption rates are already significantly lower than iOS7 was.

Probably due to the fact that you have to make space for teh upgrade.

I think this idea was a bit overblown. When I upgraded my 5S to IOS 8 it only used an extra 1GB approx.. I also did not have to delete any apps, images, etc and I have a lot of images..

IOS 8 is one of the reasons I am going back to Android in a few weeks. My phone has not worked right since the upgrade..

I have a co-worker who hasn't had any issues but my cousin and a friend of hers are both having issues..
None of the health apps that are supposed to now work with health app works and health app crashes most times I open it.
I've had to reset my fingerprint scan 8 times since update. It keeps losing it..

I will probably do another hard reset this weekend since 2 previous one seemed to help some..

Yeah some people are affected some aren't. I don't know what it is.

Hmm promising. Developers testing iOS 8.1 claim that this runs far better than iOS 8 and all Bluetooth issues are fixed so that's good to read!
