Why is it that if I take a contact and add to my favorites they are no longer under all contacts anymore? Is this the way this is supposed to be this is the second phone I have had to do this. any contact I add to any group disappears from my all contacts list the only way to get it back is to remove from groups.

Try going to your contacts, and press Menu>display option>select your account.

From there, I only have "System Group: My Contacts" selected and it shows all (even starred) in my list. If yours is the same, try selecting "starred" and maybe that will help.
