People vs contacts

My sister has the htc one m7 in Att and here recently her contacts icon will become people icon, and then it'll switch back sometime later. Anyone else seeing that behavior?

I've not seen it on my sprint version.

I've had that problem when using an alternate mail or sms app. I'm on ATT.
