People vs contacts

My sister has the htc one m7 in Att and here recently her contacts icon will become people icon, and then it'll switch back sometime later. Anyone else seeing that behavior?

I've not seen it on my sprint version.

No can't say I've seen this either. I can't remember the exact moment in time but Contacts was phased out on vanilla Android a while back and replaced with People as the new " hub " for maintaining and accessing your contacts ( phone numbers, emails, addresses, etc. ). But like we've seen with other stuff the OEM may still choose to continue using something like Contacts when they put their own UI/skin over vanilla Android.

I too have the HTC One (M7) for what its worth.

Yeah I remember when they switched over, but this happens several times a day. I may have her create a shortcut on a home screen to see if it does it there too.
