Perfect screen protector for the curved edge.

Well I decided to take the plunge on a Whitestone Dome glass since I saw so many good reviews out there and I have to say that I was completely suckered into a piece of junk. Either other people are not as OCD as I am or I just got a bad batch but I need to see if I can get my money back from Amazon.

Check out how the edge doesn't have a clean line and the glue under the glass on the curve shows thru. //uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181002/01d74690ca29017a9174bc184ee926b0.jpg

That's the reason I don't go for expensive one's. :-X

Something must have gone wrong in the adhering and curing process or you've had an off batch of silicone adhesive.

As I've mentioned before my installation went without hitch and I see nothing of the issue you've seen.

And believe me I've looked hard and close using a torch etc.

Some will like the Whitestone Dome and some wont for various reasons which is fair enough.

I really want to try a glass protector, but I don't like the idea of putting adhesive on my phone.

Is it easily removed with rubbing alcohol, without damaging the screen? If so, it'll lighten the paranoia up a bit.

I've removed a Whitestone Dome Glass protector before and none of the silicone stays on the phones screen. It's all on the glass screen protector itself.

In regards to any spots on the edges when fitting the protector then after the first curing use one of the supplied swabs which removes it. Then cure the screen a final time as instructed.

Any new impressions on good glass protectors other than the Whitedome? I just had my tempered glass one pop off and it makes me want to get a new one now. I don't want any with the stupid cutouts, it defeats the purpose if the top area of the screen is unprotected.

Very minimal residue that came off easily with a cleaning cloth. Amazon is crediting my money. I got the 2 pack by the way and they both looked bad.
That sucks. Let me know how easy it is to remove and if it gums up your phone?

Just applied the Whitestone protector to my Note 9. It was the most involved screen protector installation I've ever done.

But I love the results.

Initially I wasn't going to put a screen protector on the Note 9. But noted some faint scratches on the screen. interestingly, I previously had a Note 8 for nearly a year with no protector and its screen never got scratches. Seems the Note 9 screen is more scratch prone than the Note 8.

I use gadget guard liquid glass on my curved displays... it holds up pretty awesomely. just follow the instructions and you're good to go.

I'm going to have to try the Whitedome or something. Got my replacement glass one in the mail, thought it was on well enough, tonight I noticed a piece of debris near the edge. It's not even sticking there at all.

Can someone please recommend a screen protector that covers the entire front? White Dome is stupid because the whole top part of the screen is unprotected, I put a screen protector on there to protect whole thing, not leave a portion totally naked. I'm seriously considering going back to the film protectors, I am so sick of these stupid glass ones not working at all.

I use the gadget guard liquid glass personally. every tempered glass screen shield I have bought either peels or falls off.

Was using a Spigen neo flex screen protector but I couldn't take the way it made my screen look weird as it was a soft film protector not a glass protector. Going naked for now without a protector.

Just cracked mine trying to work the massive bubbles out. :'(
The edges crack very easy. ZAGG charges $9.99 to mail out a replacement.
