Seen at least three reviewers mention that when using the phone with intense CPU apps that there is stutter and a little lag... Doesn't sound good, but hopefully resolved in the consumer version.

MobileSyrup.com mentioned this as did uravgconsumer on YouTube.

Anything else seeing early reviews mentioning stutter on high CPU intense apps?

Do these reviewer's have final hardware with final software? I thought all that was out there was early Korean hardware that was not final with software that was also not final.

Also, small amounts of stutter and lag when doing something intense like downloading a lot of apps is kinda par for the course with Android devices.

Yeah, I think these concerns are a bit premature at this point. Valid concerns if they're true, but let's just see what LG unleashes upon us.

True, but the way they spoke about it was odd as of it was a significant enough for it to be mentioned. Hopefully a software update will solve that 😊

I agree let's wait till consumer version comes out.... LG needs a perfect launch here...

I've heard of this happening in several reviews where they realized they had game optimization or whatever it is turned on by default. That effectively throttles performance to increase battery life. After turning that option off, things ran smoothly.

Ok that probably explains that, thx!

I have lag on my G5 all the time. Usually I cure it by shutting down all the other apps. The 820 processor is known to get hot when stressed.

Exactly as I mentioned that on theaverageconsumer's video recently. It's also the reason why Tomb Raider:Relic Run used to crash on my V10 when it ran smoothly on my Snapdragon 801 Sony Xperia Z3.

Is the general perception of lag a symptom of an overall spoiled society?

i have not tried the V20 yet. but to your point, I never thought I had lag on phones until I had a Nexus 6, i thought that is just how Android works. then I realized how fast and fluid a phone can be.

First world problems are real lol 😂 Seriously though I think tech lovers are entitled to not want their phones to stutter or lag especially when it's going to be one of the most expensive devices you'll ever purchase. Hopefully tech companies read these forums and take note of what is said by consumers to prevent that in the future. I've never really had any "day one lag" on my HTC M8 which is a solidly built phone. I have pushed my phone to the limit and slow by installing around 200 apps but if I never did and reduced the amount of apps to a sensible figure then it would still be blazingly fast. 200 apps is a little bit too much for any phone I think...

Had a htc m7 myself and never really experienced lag.
