Sometimes apps, especially system apps, have permissions that can not be disabled, or will be re-enabled after an update.

When you say your roommates can see your photos, how? Have they proved it by showing them to you via their phone? If so, what app are they viewing it with? Are they maybe photos you posted on social media? This issue needs a lot more clarification from you to fully understand what's happening. We see people make similar claims now and then, but it's not something that just happens out of the blue.

Do you fully understand those logs? What specifically is concerning you?
1 specifically in dark mode.. I have no TCT (alcatel)device much less a root device.. or a universal plug n play phone or device..2 why are the tracer routes showing up empty? as well as ping times? let me break it down..phone has "beeped" while off.. images come up missing....I have a Microsoft account with office 365 and an Xbox account attached I never opened..I don't/never owned an xbox..and net analyzer says everything going to/from internet is going thru a western digital mycloud server storage that is remote accessible.. to top it off my mms stopped working I can't even reset my apn to default and its taken 11 straitalk reps n 4 mgrs, 5 Verizon techs 3 samsung techs 7 tracphone techs 5 days to get mms back working again and even tho my phone is unlocked now I still can't access my apn and certain apps have lots of deleted categories...

I don't think "tcttlink" refers to an Alcatel device. I can't find details with a web search, but there's no reason to think that refers to a brand of device.

I don't pretend to understand syslogs, and unless you're an Android engineer, I wouldn't try to read a lot into all of that information.

What do you mean that your phone was "beeping" while off? Do you mean it was completely powered off? Or was it asleep? Are you certain it wasn't just some random notification tone?

Where are you seeing the Xbox account? Keep in mind that an Xbox app is automatically preinstalled on all Windows 10 and 11 machines these days (and you can't uninstall it).

Regarding the MMS issue, are you saying that you're on Straight Talk/Tracfone using Verizon towers? Did you get your phone directly from Straight Talk or Tracfone, or did you bring it from some other carrier?

type in just tct... under my investigation it's a TCT Alcatel a30z..TCT link is an app that links that brand to devices and looking at the log its a root device...the Xbox account is in a Microsoft account in my name that I didn't create.. i dont own a computer or laptop...the phone beeped while powered off completely ... Verizon acquired straight talk and its a tracphone brand samsung a03s.. I thot most of you guys were techs/ pros on here thats why I joined...

That's not conclusive proof that it refers to an Alcatel phone. The term there is tcttlink.

We're all unpaid tech enthusiast volunteers. There are certainly people here with impressive technical knowledge, but no one here is a professional tech support worker.

We tend to get posts like yours on a regular basis. To be honest, there isn't much that a forum like this can help with multiple vague unexplained issues. In the vast majority of cases, odd issues can be attributed to glitches and faulty hardware. Perceived "hacking" usually has nothing to do with devious software sneaked into a person's device, but rather social engineering (e.g., oversharing one's life on social media, which oftentimes is visible to everyone).

Sorry, and good luck.

If you're so cool and knowledgeable, what do you need us for? If you've been playing with Google dorks, it's probably one of your friends messing with you... or maybe it's red team secops for one of those agencies you've been snooping teaching you a lesson that just because you think you've gone unnoticed doesn't necessarily mean you've gone unnoticed.

"TCT" is not the same as "tcttlink."

I won't quit my day job, because sick people need me in the hospital.

Maybe you should switch to a flip phone, if this is such a problem for you. Once again, good luck.

I'm pretty sure we are just being played from two big red flags. You try to intimidate us with hacking government files, but a simple check of your "dorking" search terms reveals only general government documents that have no private info and accessible without hacking anything. Even if you could hack, then you'd also be aware of how Android permissions work, how a powered off phone can not be remotely accessed, and not assume TCT and tctlink are related without any evidence. And then you show us the supposed Microsoft/Xbox profile that someone else created in your name, yet the URL and screen shot clearly shows you logged in, which requires info you wouldn't be privy to if you didn't set it up yourself. I was also able to reliably recreate and remedy your empty traceroute screen in a way that suggests you did it intentionally to give us false info.

A lot of posts that start out as yours did are newbies, or occasionally paranoid users. Your actions are not that of a paranoid person. If you are new, then you are trolling us with the intimidation. If you're experienced, you're still trolling us from the other direction with feigned ignorance. We're not official Android techs and developers, but we're not stupid.
