Phablet or phone + Tablet?

Hey gang, I have a phone and tablet, but was thinking of going with just one device since I don't use my tablet as much with a 5 inch phone.

Agreed I rarely use the the N7 or ipad. I still prefer an MBA when I am not needing ultra portable. Just a larger more comfortable way to type and photo edit etc. Its alot easier to go without a tablet or even the laptop. The phone though is an absolute necessity.
