phone almost full - what is safe to delete

I have a Samsung A11 and the phone is almost full. I have lots of room on the Card but need to know what files are safe to move? BTW, I am only talking about Doc files - I don't mess with system files, etc.
I have already moved all photos from the Phone to the Card or my laptop, but it is still close to being full with only 1.5GB remaining.

Welcome to Android Central! First, look through the settings for all of your apps (e.g., Kindle, music apps, etc.) and look for a built-in option to use the SD card for default storage.

Most document and media files can be moved to the SD card, but you probably want to check the associated apps to make sure they can still find them.

But keep in mind that documents and media files usually don't take up that much space, so moving as many of those files to SD card may not make much of a dent. Apps and app data (which often can't be moved) are what usually take up the most space. Look through your apps and uninstall any that you rarely use.

Did you restart the device after moving files? This is necessary step to give accurate storage Data.

Hey,

You're on the right track by moving your photos to the SD card and laptop. For documents, it's generally safe to move them to the SD card as well. Use a file manager app to:

1. Identify your documents in the "Documents" or "Downloads" folder.
2. Select and move them to the SD card.
3. Double-check that they open correctly from the SD card.

You can also consider clearing app caches for apps that use documents frequently.
