Phone always wakes from sleep after I hit the power button

My Fascinate has been doing something weird lately. When I hit the power button to send the phone to sleep, it wakes back up and the screen stays on. I have to hit power again to put it to sleep. Anyone have a solution for this...I keep forgetting to hit the button again and its killing my battery.

That happens to me from time to time also. I haven't heard about any sort of fix for it though. Just watch your phone after putting it to sleep.

Yup, got the same thing. I suspect it may be related to the phantom soft key presses. If the Android soft keys are being randomly toggled in the background (best way to check is with LogCat), then it may trigger the screen to come back alive before the phone is fully asleep.
