Why did HTC reverse the answer/decline buttons on this phone? I can't remember how many people I have hung up on sine I bought it. Or, did I just imagine it?

+1 Seriously its annoying!! Right next to the way it multitasks. This phone is great but there's lots that HTC did that does not make any sense.

i noticed that today too as I got my 4G, it's just a learning curve, like its a big red or green button :p. they did it with the delete picture "OK" option too, but that makes sense, it just closer to the delete

I noticed this too! I've officially ignored every call I've received since getting the phone on Sunday.

I'll get used to it, eventually. Until then, my friends will have to deal with me ignoring their calls.

Lol "sense"

Really annoying. Took awhile to get used to. The send button on the email program is on the right now too. Used to be on the left where the save button is now. I keep saying instead of sending.

I believe its more an ICS thing. If you have played on any vanilla ICS device, you'll notice everythings backwards. When notifications pop up, the yes is on the right now, and no is on the left. Same way in Sense 4.0.

I could be wrong.

Yea I have noticed a few actions were "backwards". And my gf thinks I hate her because I keep declining her calls

Thank gawd I'm not the only one.. I feel like such an idiot everytime I've done this.

It definitely is a theme that runs throughout all of Sense and most likely through ICS. I am wondering if they did that because most of the people hold the phone in their right hand and thus easier for their thumb to hit the buttons frequently used when they are on the right side. Just a thought. It has been extremely annoying but I am getting used to it. My wife has even complained and she usually just rolls with it. I dislike this just like I dislike the micro USB port on the side. Oh well again I just need to get used to it.

Lmao I've had this phone since the 24th and today was my first Incoming call (I do not talk on the phone as u can tell) and I noticed this too smh

Guys this was a change Google made in ICS. It is like this with any phone you get running ICS. From the Galaxy Nexus and any phone updated to ICS onwards. Was the same on the CM9 rom I ran on my G2 and HD2 as well.

I was just gonna start a thread on this topic... I hung up on so many people today thinking I had another issue with my phone.

I swear this phone is designed for left handed use now...

I also hate when the phone is off and it rings and you have to slide the tiny accept button in the circle... It took lots of practice...

I really want to love this phone and absolutely love the screen, but all these annoying things are driving me crazy.

How old are you guys that this is a problem, in your 60's and 70's? Are you typing from nursing homes? It takes me one or two mess ups and my brain corrects these little things and I'm stoned most the time, lol. You guys need some vitamins or maybe a CT scan. :p

I noticed that the "OK" and "Cancel" buttons have switched places while trying to delete all spam from my Yahoo Mail (in the browser), and after hitting "Cancel" the first time, I've not had issues hitting "OK" since then.
