Phone app displaying Enhanced Features Message

I just noticed today that the phone app keeps displaying an Update Enhanced Features message. When I click ok to update, it says the app is no longer supported.

Other than you posted in the Note 8 forum? Try settings, apps, find your phone app. Do force stop, clear cache and clear data. Exit settings and reboot phone. See if that helps. Also, push the little triangle in the upper right of your first post and ask that your post be moved to which ever phone you have

Do you you mean something like this?
It just appeared on my phone yesterday. My wife has it too. We can't figure out if it's a Samsung or T-mobile update. Most likely T-mobile. It looked like a rogue app at first glance. But, once I knew she had it too, I figured it must be legit.

I'm on Verizon and I had a notification, I'm presuming it updated because I didn't see any errors, just saying I gave the latest version.
