Phone awake while I'm asleep???

I upgraded to KitKat last Friday and, I had normal battery performance all weekend.Yesterday, however, when I woke up I noticed that my battery - which was at 90% when I went to bed - had gotten zapped to 15%! I thought it may have been a live wall paper that I recently installed, so I took it off. Last night when I went to bed, the battery was at 89%, this morning when I woke up, it was at 16%! WTF?

I took a screenshot for you all to look at. As you can see, from the moment that I go to sleep, it starts to massively drain my battery. Note on the pic that, during the time I was asleep, my phone states it was AWAKE! Does anyone have any clues as to why this is happening?

I would download wake lock detector to see what is holding your phone awake.

I think some people had to flush their cache and fully shutdown and start back up, after updating. Let us know how it goes with wake lock detector though; I think what you're going through is not uncommon, and some solutions to fixing it would be handy.

Unless he is rooted wakelock detector won't work...
