Phone call covers up Google maps while driving

Is there a way to continue to have Google maps on display while driving while on a phone call?

The phone call display covers the maps.

How are you using the phone while driving? Are you using Android Auto/Driving Mode? https://support.google.com/assistant/answer/10217503?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform=Android

I think I fixed it.

I turned off "Driving Mode".
