Phone call quality (sound) issue

The phone call sound is pretty bad on the particular Sprint unit that I have. While on a phone call, the sound will sound garbled, trashy, and screechy. It happens on regular call mode and on speaker mode. I always have to ask the caller to repeat what they said.Does anybody else have this problem?

Compared to my 4S the call quality and speakers are poorer. Same with my boyfriend's but we're on the same network (At&t).

I couldn't wait until Thursday to get the Verizon Note 3, but with the speaker and voice call sound issues, I am going to have to wait for a more definitive review of the sound to make up my mind.
I live on my phone, so poor sound in either the ear piece or speaker is a huge turn off for me.

There is another thread about this issue. Supposedly Samsung is aware of this and sending out more units? Possibly only a cdma issue? Call Sprint if you preordered, stop in a Sprint store if you bought it there. People are getting new units. Hope this helps...
