Android Central Question
I own a MEIZU M5 Note and recently deleted some things my phone had recommended I delete, due to lack of storage. After that, I tried to download an app using Google Play Store and my phone said that it couldn't communicate with Google servers. I decided to try to remove and reinstall Google Play Store but after I deleted it, when I tried to reinstall it said it couldn't communicate with Google servers and therefore couldn't be re-downloaded. I tried to access Google Play Services and couldn't so tried the same thing - uninstall and re-download - except this time it started telling me that Google Play Services wasn't downloaded, yet I couldn't re-install it. I have gone through all my files and apps on my phone and cannot uninstall or force stop the Google Play Services app. It still says it is downloaded but I cannot access it. I read somewhere to try removing my Google account from my phone and re-adding it but when I tried to re-add it, it came up with the same cannot communicate with Google servers message. My phone is not rooted and the 2 step verification is OFF. Now I am left with no Google play account connected to my phone, and no Google Play store or Google Play services apps. This means I cannot access some of the apps that are connected to Google Play services - including YouTube and games.
