Yes I purchased one of these Adopted case from google when I got my 6p. It's not bad.
However, adopted case seems to be the primary reason why screen caps are extremely difficult according to multiple AC users:

I personally have a low success rate with the Adopted case, and no problem doing screencaps at all when my 6p doesn't have any case on. I firmly believe it's due to case is one single piece with power and volume buttons completely covered.

I want to start this thread to see what cases people find it easier to do screecaps with. I found this one on amazon that have buttons separate from the case. It seems to have pretty good rating. I am going to buy it to test it out.

I have that Rugged Armor case and I love it. It's not as bulky as I thought and the volume and power buttons work great. No issues grabbing screenshots.

I returned my official Google case just for this issue. Went back to the Verus case I ordered off Amazon for 1/3 the price.

Granted I am waiting on Verus to send me a replacement with the USB cut out corrected.. For now I just filed out the opening enough that it plugs up no issue.. Just looks mildly rough where I had to file it down..

I actually wanted to get that case because it looks great!
After reading reviews, I went with google's adopted case lol.

I got a verus case for $2.99 or something (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B015...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU4821382) I like it, the USB cut out was a little too small though. But all I did was shave some of the material out with some scissors. Not it works perfect and I didn't have to go through the process of getting a replacement or anything.

I'm also looking at one of these spigens though (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B016...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU4821382) as I'd like to be able to show off the aluminum build. Plus it's cheap so if it sucks I'm only out $13

I'm using the adopted case (the one without the microfiber on it. The first time I went to do a screenshot I had some issues with it, but since then I've had no problems. I make sure to press the power in the center and the volume down right at the edge and it works fine.

That is the one I had and sent back. I had to take it off to do a screen shot and a few times volume up would actually push the power off button just enough it turned the screen off instead of volume up.

It's actually a really nice case. The reviews are accurate and Verus sent me an email before I even contacted them that they had a design flaw and once modified cases were in they would send me a replacement.

I used a nail file and just filed away at the plastic ever so slightly now I have no issue with plugging up the USB cable... It's just white from where I had filed away at the plastic but you can barely see it.. Once they send a replacement everything should be darn near perfect.

Is the new design being shipped out yet?

I just got the Adopted case in the mail and it seems like a nice case and fits well, but coming from a Tech 21 case on my old Turbo I feel like this doesn't provide any actual protection during a drop. The Tech 21 provides some actual cushion and separation between case and device.

I personally am liking the RedShield case from Amazon. It is much like the Adopted case but is actually clear, rather than frosted, and isn't as still as the Adopted case (particularly the buttons). Part of why I like it is how well it shows of the good looks of my 6P.

I was also interested in the Redshield case as I want to show off the aluminum back. Curious as to how it feels, as I'm concerned it may be too slippery. I had a mid-grade Incipio for my LG G2 that has held up great for the last two years. Like that case, I'm looking for something slim yet can handle the occasional fall. Will the Redshield or similar clear cases work for that purpose?

I have no clue.. they have not sent me a replacement yet (or I have not received tracking that they have sent a replacement) but Amazon.com says they are "In stock" with all the complaints about the charging port being wrong I'd find it hard to believe they are still shipping bad stock??? Last week they showed out of stock with a November 10 estimated ship date.. So maybe the new designs are in???

No clue.... but outside of that little hiccup with the charging port opening it's a great case..

I've not found it slippery. It is a bit more slippery than the Adopted case but merely because of the more "gloss" rather than frosted finish -- both are made of TPU. The case is quite slim but it will help with minor falls. The TPU will absorb some the impact; most of the glass "brow" is covered, and there is a small lip over the front that will help keep the screen from hitting the ground. I think the best way to describe it, is in a minor drop where the case would get scratched or a minor dent, a TPU case will typically keep the scratch/dent from occurring.
