Phone creaking

My maxx has started to creak when I squeeze a little just below the volume rocker. I can feel the casing moving a little.
Has anyone else seen this issue? I didn't know I had this problem until I read about it on google + because I always have a case on the phone.

I've read other posts here and there about the same sort of issue. My "creak" is in the upper left as I look at the screen (opposite the volume rocker). I'm not sure anything can be done about it.
