Phone Dead!?!?!?

I was in the car and when I got to my destination I took my phone out and the screen wouldn't come on. I tried the reset, power button, and charging - nothing worked. I really think the phone is dead. I'm going to leave it charging for a bit and see if anything happens but I can't get any response from the phone. Might be the final nail in the coffin for me with this device.

Did you try holding down volume - and the power button at the same time for 10-20 seconds?

I had one of these do die. Was swiping through the phone book and it just shut off. Nothing would bring it back on and workers at the Verizon store couldn't get it to come back either (sarcasm there since they acted like they knew more than I did haha). You can try power and both volume buttons but if it is non-responsive to charging, my guess is it is dead.

Have you tried plugging it into a PC? If you hook it to a PC with a data cable it automatically turns the phone on.

Also, do you have a MicroSD card in? If so, pull that out...I've heard if they aren't seated correctly they can cause some issues.

I left the phone plugged in for about 4 hours and now things are back to normal. I have no idea why. When the phone "died", it had plenty of charge, so I would assume it wasn't a case of the battery being drained. I'll post back if anything else interesting occurs.
