Phone deleting messages

My wife has the S3 on Sprint. Randomly she will be typing a message in Facebook app or messaging and it will just delete the whole message. It is somewhat random, it will do it several times over a few days and then not again for a 1-2 weeks. Software is updated and we have reset and hard reset the phone. Any suggestions? Anyone else having the same issue?

This use to happen to me when i would take to long writing a message. So i would write the message i wanted in note pad then paste it into facebook and post. It has not happened since i got my note 2. Not sure if this her problem but its a possibility.
