Phone dialer widget?

I was given an S2, and I've figured out most stuff so far. But one thing still has me stumped: can I get a phone dialer widget by itself on one screen??

I have a screen where I can place four contacts. And I have a screen that shows a circle of widgets: health and messages are stuck here and I can't remove them, but I did add the dialer.

I did set up a Home button double-press shortcut to bring up the dialer - but I fear the triple-press that will send emergency messages!

Is there a way to get the phone dialer by itself on one screen? So with one swipe off the time screen and one tap, I can make a call?

Can you just drag the dialer icon to a new screen?

Apparently not. I can delete the complete "circle of apps" (the one with six places for apps - I have phone, health, messages, and alarms there, and would be okay with deleting all but the phone!). And I can delete the phone from this circle. But I can't press and hold and drag to a new screen. I have a blank screen at the end that says "add widget", but the phone dialer isn't one of them. Is there something to download? Or an adjustment through the phone app?
