The phone sounds like a Samsung from the blue light. I would try hard reseting it. Power button plus volume down for 10 seconds.

If that doesn't work then it sounds like your screen went out. If less then a year old I would take it to your carrier for a warranty replacement.

If more than a year old then I would try Ifixit.com for repair instructions or take to a repair shop
