Phone doesn't receive video messages (LG Stylo 4)

[Android Central Question]

I have an Lg Stylo 4 from Amazon Prime on Verizon Straight Talk. Whenever I receive a video messages it shows up like down sized picture. I can't change my apn settings and have tried different texting apps. The only one that works is the verizon message +, but I don't like the app. Is there any fix for this?

Welcome to Android Central! Are these video messages coming from iPhone users? Remember that MMS has an attachment filesize limit of about 1 MB, so any video would have to be severely compressed to fit. I think Messages+ gets around that, but then both parties probably have to use the app.
