Phone doesn't Vibrate for SMS Notifications

Whenever I switch to the vibrate profile I my phone doesn't vibrate when I recieve sms/mms messages. Has anyone else had this issue? If so, where you able to get it to work and how?

do you have the app "missed call"? maybe it's set not to vib in there if you have it. only thing i could think of.

Get the app in the market called "Sound Manager" in there check the vibrate settings (under when you press menu) make sure they are both checked to all the time.

This is a bug that some apps have an effect on an in depth vibrate setting that normally isn't allowed access to under the normal android settings.
