Phone dying at 25%

Hello. I have a s5 on AT&T and found that most times, my battery will "drain" to 0%, but when I plug it in, it's at 25%. It's not rooted, or in service. Just the phone. It's possible the battery is bad, because I've tried to calibrate it and everything went smoothly. Just want some opinions/experience on the problem if possible.

The s5 is a couple years old now. It's very possible the battery is just on it's way out, and the symptom you describe is right in line with a battery that's starting to exceed it's useful lifespan.
