phone dying

All of a sudden my phone is slowly crawling, I can see some faint red dots deep in my screen. Is it finally coming to an end? I really like this device, it has been very good to me. Anyone else having this problem?

Yeah, I have tried all of the usual tricks of the trade, I'm beginning to think that the digitizer is going bad. Some touches don't register at times and I still can't explain the faint red lights in the center of the screen, it almost looks like the droid eye from the og droids.

I agree, it doesn't sound good.:-\ If a factory reset doesn't fix it, it probably needs to be retired.
