I encrypted my phone some time ago and have gotten used to entering my PIN to start the phone after powering it on. A few days ago it dawned on me that the phone was no longer asking for my PIN. Went into Lock Screen and Security and can't find the option to encrypt my phone anywhere. Nearest option I see is Secure Startup, which requires PIN entry to start the software, but no mention of encryption. Am I missing something?
Phone is Verizon, Android 7.0, Kernel 3.10.61, Build NRD90M.N920VVRS3CRF1. Security patch is from June 1, 2018.
Did encryption go away?
