Phone Favorites

Just made the move back from iPhone 7 Plus. Loving the Pixel 2 XL.

My only real gripe is with the favorites I'm the phone apply. Wish it was more like the list view is the iPhone. Is there a setting I am missing or a 3rd party apply that would solve my dilemma ?

You're saying that you don't like the grid view that the stock Dialer application uses for Favorites?
I'm not aware of a way to change that other than by using a 3rd party dialer.

True Dialer is my favorite of all the 3rd party dialers. You can in fact make a list for favorites view. That dialer is very powerful so it has a ton of other features.

That's the one. Keep in mind it has a lot of features so it might be overwhelming, although I think the menus are pretty well organized so that things make sense. Should be ok, but just saying. I used that dialer for a while, only now with the Pixel 2 XL have I gone back to the stock dialer completely to try it out again. I miss some True Dialer features for sure.

I was able to drag and drop my contacts in the favorites list on the default dialer app, but the bottom few do not sort properly. Anyone else seeing this?

I noticed that Recent phone#s are added to the bottom of Favorites, even tho "Recent" calls icon is directly beside the Favorites icon.

Cmon Google use some common sense.
I also see that the True Phone app is developed in Russia & of course it has access to all of your Contacts. Just sayin...
