phone frozen

Hi everyone

I have a problem with my phone. I would describe it but I looked for it online and seems to be more common than I expected, so I will use one of the videos that I found https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_9AUyz6QUk

I did not find any solution for this, can anyone help me?

Welcome to Android Central! Does it only happen in the Google app? It almost seems like the phone is freezing because RAM is getting overloaded. Does it happen in Safe Mode as well? https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-30130

It happen even if no apps are running. I did a reset and it is still with the same problem. Sometimes it works and sometimes it isn't, exactly like is shown in the video.

So try Safe Mode, as suggested above. This temporarily disables any app you installed, which can tell you if one of those apps is the culprit or not.

yes, I tried and still happen. Also, there is no app installed as I did a reset.

the thing is it happens just sometimes and sometimes not, but you never know when it is happening again.

Is there a screen protector on? Does the phone get very warm when this happens?

it doesnt get specially warm. There is no screen protector. Apart from the screen the buttons dont work either while it is frozen

If it happens in Safe Mode, then it's either a firmware or hardware problem. If it's firmware, you'd have to reinstall the firmware. I'm not sure how hard that is, but if you have Verizon, you can use their Software Repair Assistant. If it's a hardware problem, you'd have to bring it to repair shop.

I have not verizon. do you know where can I get it? do I need an special module for lg g3 or it is just a common software to every phone?

I also realised that sometimes, after reboot the phone, it appears a message saying that some process is going wrong and it needs to close. I close and it works fine for a while. then it starts going bad again. but it is strange that it happen in safe mode too.
