phone goes black and doesnt respond

Has anyone had a problem where the phone goes black and i dont know if its off or what but it wont wake up. I try the power button and it doesnt do anything i have to take the battery out and turn it back on. Anyone have this problem?

I had this on my OV as well, I think there may be processes running in the background

I have actually had the same exact problem, particularly in the past few days. I ended up returning it to Best Buy last night because I thought it was a hardware problem. My replacement phone did the exact same thing today. Before returning my first phone to Best Buy, I did a factory reset, and the problem still occurred. I wish I could figure out what was causing this.

same problem for me. it happened twice. only way to get phone back is to reset battery. phone continues to use power though.
