Phone goes to just 4g

I have the AT&T 5s and I just noticed that when I make a call or if someone calls me my phone goes from 4glte to just 4g. Has anyone else noticed that? If so is there a way to stop that from happening?

That's normal. Until AT&T activates VoLTE it will drop to 4g HSPA when you're on a call.

Mine does it, too. But, I never have had any trouble being able to check texts or emails while on the phone, so I didn't pay much attention to it.

OK. Was just wondering. It doesn't hinder my call quality. Just thought it was weird.
