had my phone in my back pocket and it dropped into the toilet (thankfully before I did any 'business')
I immediately took the battery out and left it apart
Brought it home stuck the phoneand battery in a bag of rice for two days
charged it up and everything seemed to be working fine except the battery was discharging very quickly
so I factory reset and still had some battery issues, but after searching, I thought that it was less to do with the water and more to do with the phone itself

Last night, I forgot to put my phone on the charger so it was dead when I woke up
I tried to charge it but the charge keeps going on and off
thought maybe it was the charger, so I brought it to work and used another one plugged into USB of the computer tower (this one ALWAYS works) and I'm getting the same thing
phone vibrates, blue light flashes, battery charging image shows up for just a moment then stops, then it starts all over again
vibrate, blue light flash, battery image, blank
it's happening rhythmically so I don't think it's the charger

I thought that I avoided disaster since it's been three weeks since the "incident"
now what?
any help/ideas/suggestions greatly appreciated!

Hate to say it but you got much luckier than most folks who get their phones wet getting it to work as much afterwards. Sounds like something inside still got damaged.

You should see if somebody that you know has the same phone and see if you could try their battery in your phone to see if your problems continue.
Might be a longshot, but its worth a try.

good idea, the phone has the tell tale pink dot, but the battery did not get wet... still worth a try
