Phone keeps restarting its self

I did a software update on my galaxy s7 and now my phone won't stop restarting. I did a hard reset and its still doing the same thing. I don't have money to get a new phone. Phone was fine before the dumb update, please help

This is the same thing happening to me. The only way my phone will complete startup is if it's on charger. Then it can be used as normal. Even if it shows 100% charged, as soon as I take it off charger and try any app or make a call it shuts off and begins the endless re-starting and it within minutes show NO charge.

The battery is dead - have it replaced. (And stop draining it down to 0% - at 40% wither recharge it or turn it off.)
