Phone keeps restarting itself?

Huawei Ascend G300 here, running ICS. It randomly restarts and then freezes on the opening screen. The only way to get it to work is taking out the battery. This seems to happen for no reason, like it just has bad days. Today it restarted 3 or 4 times... Sometimes it also becomes unresponsive while the screen is locked and nothing can make it unfreeze. Again, i have to take out the battery to restart it. Help? All this restarting can't be a good thing

Welcome to Android Central! It can be hard to pin down the cause of behavior like this. Sometimes it helps to wipe the cache partition, which is where the system stores temporary data and logfiles. If you wipe it from the Recovery Menu, you won't lose any important data.

The instructions are here: Vodafone Support - How to restore factory settings on the Huawei Ascend G300 BUT instead of selecting "Wipe Data/Factory Reset," select "Wipe Cache Partition." When it's done, select "Reboot System Now."
