I've got my phone configured so that the screen shuts off after 2 minutes of inactivity (Settings/Display/Screen Timeout/2 minutes). Works great and gives me decent enough battery life. I've also got it configured to lock the phone with a password after 15 minutes (Settings/Security/Lock phone after/15 minutes). I prefer having a strong password, but would not want to have to enter it every single time I go more than 2 minutes w/o touching the phone.
What I'm wondering is if there's an app or widget that will instantly lock the phone with the password when clicked. I've tried a couple "Lock" widgets, but all they do is turn the display off. Sure, when you power it back on you are presented with the slider which helps prevent you from butt-dialing someone, but that's not really a lock, despite what people tend to call it.
