phone not charging after installing custom rom. what to do?

i have redmi 5 plus device. i wanted to try out android 10, so i installed pixel experience rom using twrp.everything was fine and it booted up but when i connect my phone to the charger , it says it charging but it does'nt. so i thought its an bug in the rom so , i flashed miui fastbootrom using miflash tool.
flashing was complete and showed success but when it booted up it went in to an bootloop.
then i thought it was something to with the fastbootrom. so again downloaded it in another website this time , i downloaded from an link in the mi community thread.
but it also flashed but when booting it , it when to bootloop
i even downloaded miui rom in zip file and installed it from twrp but it never booted it was stuck on mi powered by android logo. then i installed another custom rom aosp extended. it worked fine but again it did'nt charge like in the pixel exp. rom. ii dont know what to do. please help me out

actually i did thought of flashing stock firmware . so i downloaded the stock miui fastboot rom and flashed it using miflash tool, and when it finished flashing and booted up it went to bootloop. i never encountered an bootloop while flashing fastboot rom in official miflash tool. so what should i do?

so flashing fastboot rom causes bootloop and flashing miui rom in twrp stuck at mi logo and flashing custom rom works but charging the phone does'nt work but when i flashed stock rom and when it stuck at mi logo , i switched my phone and it charging did work , so its caused by the custom rom only right.

Flash the stock Rom without twrp , you'll have research the tools for that , best place is XDA Forums they are more for Root and Custom Rom , if you look around these Forums here not much talk about Miui or custom Rom

Hello. I'm having the same problem. I've unlocked my bootloader a week ago and flashed havoc A12 rom with gapps included. But the phone is not charging. I tried other rom with nik core gapps but it doesn't charge either.
Now i flashed miui eu rom and it charges. I don't understand what is the problem. Please help. Thank you.
Edit: flashed firmware still same issue. Aosp roms are not charging
