Phone not responding

Ok I have had my sg3 a little over a week now, and this morning, it would not turn on when I pressed the power button. I had a full charge and had just made a phone call on it. 5 minutes later I wanted to send a text, and could not get the screen to one on. It finally came on about 45 seconds later, but has this happened to anyone else?
