Contact storage ver 4.1.2- synchronising bug
There is a dangerous bug in the above when you are synchronising the gmail contacts (address book) with the Samsung Contact Storage database file.
Phone numbers and names of persons become scrambled
Phone number of person A may be associated with Person B's name.
On checking with several users of the samsung phones it becomes clear that this is a repetitive issue with many users.
Both my samsung note and S3 has this issue. You will then be sending messages to wrong persons and one can imagine how serious this can be.
When checking the original contact data in the Google Gmail contacts list, everything is correctly stated.
However something goes wrong when the sync is happening between the google account and andriod.
Workaround delete the contacts storage and resync - problem may repeat but after a few times of deleting it will work ok.
