My phone was out of battery and non-responsive after plug-in.

After some time I attempted a boot up with bixby-power-sound.

Phone was stuck in the first brand flash, repeating over and over again.

Upon unplug, phone worked to go into the menu.

Phone has been having issues lately (saying charger is damp when it isn't, though it was working again) and I decided to do a factory reset, but it only worked when the phone was Unplugged.

I THINK the phone died during the reset. Not sure, but it went out. I plugged back in and heard the beep beep, but it just went out. Now, nothing. It won't respond to anything.

Any ideas?

There have been a few people that have not been able to get the battery to charge after it ran out. I think the fix for some was to plug the phone into the charger while at the same time placing it on a wireless charger to jump start the battery??

Regardless, cell phones should always be able to recharge when a battery runs out by plugging in unless the battery is just dead/faulty. Those that have that issue should have tried to get the battery replaced under warranty. If you're phone is within warranty, I'd contact Samsung support or your carrier for options. If out of warranty, then I'd find the nearest ubreakifix which is an authorized Samsung service provider and get a new battery put in.

As far as if the phone is bricked because the phone died during a reset... you won't know if that's the case until you resolve the battery issue. My opinion/guess... 51/49 it didn't brick it. Maybe ubreakifix can determine before having to pay for a battery.
