Phone reboots n its own about once a week

My google pixel XL reboots on its own about every week. This has happened the last three weeks. Is there a reason why this happens? Please advise.

It can be hard to say why without a logcat. Have you tried a cache clear in settings?

Yeh I clear the cache periodically. I was told rebooting the phone once a week anyway is a good idea but I am just wondering why it does it on its own. Do you think it is supposed to? It is almost exactly a week when it does it so I am wondering.

It's not supposed to do that on its own. As to why, I am not sure. I would guess it's an app that's doing it. Did this recently start?
