Phone won't make calls. Just says configuring wifi calling. But we have wifi and wifi calling turned off. Phone is able to receive calls.

Ideas?

Open the Phone app, tap Menu>Settings>Call Settings>Calling Accounts. What does it say under Use SIP Calling? Make sure it's set to "Only for SIP calls."

Ya, it's Project Fi. It's my brother who is having the problems. He's in Vegas right now and can't make any phone calls so I'm trying to figure it out for him. But I'm a Samsung gal myself, and everything I found on google didn't help - so I thought I'd try the 6p forums. I'll send him that link. Thank you!

Sorry he had to go through that hassle. Not sure what was causing the problem, but glad it's working now!

I'm having this same problem, and my settings are as you said. Do you have any other ideas, or am I going to have to do a hard reset too?

Hi, you don't have to do a Hard Reset. From what I read and performed all you have to do is

1. go into Settings->Apps
2. Clear cache and data for both Hangouts and Project FI
3. Reboot your phone
4. Lastly go through the Project FI re-activation on your phone and you're set.

Hope this helps. As I said, this happened to me the last couple of days and this fixed it.

thx

It started happening to him again today so I'll have him try what psyke0 suggested. Thanks everyone!
