Phone Screen green?

So yesterday I was running on the sidewalk when my phone fell out and hit the ground. I currently have an otter box defender. So I try to use my phone, then it just turned green and half black. I could see a little. But not much. After two hours the screen was normal again. So I'm wondering is it just that the screen got joggled Or is it a deeper problem.

Could be one of a dozen things, best case would be to back everything up, incase your phone goes crazy.
