Phone screen won't turn off

Hy. I have same problem in My samsung galaxy j5 screen wont sleep plz tell me how to fix it

I have an htc10 that has been doing this for about a week. I too tried restart checking and adjusting lock screen settings. after reading all suggestions in the forum, I powered phone off completely for 10 or 15 minutes. When I powered back on, the screen resumed screen time out as set.

I had this problem with a replacement LG G6 that I got after my old one fell in the river. The insurance rep told me I could use my old SIM card unless I started getting dropped calls, odd behavior, etc. I did have my old SIM card in when the screen wouldn't time out, but after replacing the SIM card, my phone now turns off like it should. HTH

Not Verizon S3 but same problem here. Fixed after Airdroid uninstall. Checked app settings / permisions first, nothing found that could keep the screen on. Though, the phone started auto shut off fails about the same time with Airdroid install. I hope this will solve the problem at least for some of you.
