In the past few months my phone would shut down with battery levels of 25 to 35%.

I called google support and they are sending me a replacement phone.
I understand that that is a common problem with teh 5P.

Here is a graph of the battery. You see that around 30% the line drops vertically to zero. What is also interesting is when I plug the phone to the charger, the carging starts at the same point it shut down..

Yes it's a common problem, the battery in the 6P is crap. I had my phone replaced a couple of months ago for the same problem.

Do they replace it with the same model of battery?

My phone is working well, AccuBattery shows the health as 75%. However, the phone is 22 months old with only 2 more months on the extended warranty.

Not that it has anything to do with the problem you're reporting but your Awake time is totally out of whack with your Screen on time - looks like you have one or more apps chewing up your battery life.

I replaced my battery a few weeks ago and I've had my 6p since launch. No battery issues after the change out, so I'm sure it had just run it's cycle. Also, just updated to O beta 4 and it's working like a champ!

I have the same problem. it used to happen around 15% now it's happening somewhere between 30-20%. I'm thinking about replacing the phone, but with the new pixel coming out in a couple of months I'll probably just wait it out.

Question. How did you replace your battery? Did you do it yourself? Took it to an independent kiosk, mailed in to Huawei, Google, etc? Reason I ask is I may want to replace my battery down the road too. Thanks.

I found a guy in my area that has a reputable and recommended independent business doing phone repairs. Only charged $75 total, part, labor, and tax. And only took about 30 minutes. I found the battery and tools together online and watched YouTube videos on doing it myself, but for $75, having it done for me was just too convenient.

Got it. Thanks for the info!
