Does it take time getting use to how large the phone is? Would any of you prefer it to be a tad bit smaller?

I came from the Storm 2 and really don't notice much of a difference. It feels far better without the silicone case but I haven't found a solution to that. As far as boobs go, whatever you can't fit in our mouth or hands is a waste.

Coming from a Droid X, the charge feels small to me. Screen size is the same, but the Charge is a lot less bulky.

I was pleasantly surprised at how little difference there was between phones when I put them side by side at VZW. I was COMPLETELY set against a 4.3" screen until I actually compared them.

I'll tell you this, the tiny iPhone screen looks pitiful in comparison, and the phone is not much smaller in physical size. I would have probably bought the iPhone or DInc2 without actually seeing these side by side. IMO, the larger size is a non-issue.

Initially I was totally against any phone with a screen bigger then 4". I held the TB and it was too heavy to me, too big. The weight made it feel as big as it looked. The Charge is really different. You have to hold it to really appreciate it. It looks big (well it is) as compared to other phone, but the weight is spread out well and makes the phone feel smaller. Again, something you have to try to appreciate. Now I'm loving the screen size and glad I gave it a chance.

Its been tough for me to try it in store since it has the stuck on security device. Can't get a real grip on the thing to tell for myself. Guess I'll just have to take the plunge. I had the droid X2 but it didn't feel right in the hand. The Thunderbolt was too difficult for me to reach my thumb all the way to the top to activate the screen and started hurting my hand, but with the sleep/wake button on the side I see it being a non issue...

I wouldn't mind it being a little bigger, maybe 5 inches max.......I could almost see myself using a 7" tablet as a phone :)

To be honest, this phone does not feel bulky in the least. Yes, it is physically larger than most other phones, but unlike every other 4.3 device I have seen, this is both lightweight and ergonomic. It fits the hand well, and does not feel heavy, so once you get used to spreading your fingers a little farther apart, it does not feel "big". And the huge screen size more than makes up for it, as its very easy on the eyes, and great for reading text on websites. The only annoyance is pocketing it, as it is still a large flat slab that makes itself known if you sit down without taking it out. Still, its light weight keeps it from being noticeable when walking around, its actually lighter and slimmer than the much smaller LG Versa I switched from.

I love the large screen! My old Droid 1 looks puny in comparison. And because of the plastic back case, the phone doesn't feel heavy at all.

Thanks all. I ended up getting the charge and love it. Doesn't feel large like the x2 or thunderbolt. Very happy.
