phone stuck in landscape view

Help phone stuck in landscape view. I removed the battery that did not work. I also did a factory reset that did not help either. Landscape only mode is unchecked in my browser settings. I even ran a magnet across the phone still did not help. Any suggestions?

Sliding open the keyboard will force it into landscape. Perhaps open/close it a few times. Not sure.

are you running a custom rom? rooted? have an nandroid backup you can try?
