My Lg V10 took a crap with the dreaded bootloop this am. I need good battery life and larger size (similar to V10). Have Verizon I prefer not to spend the big bucks on a new or new to me phone. TIA :)

If you like the features of the V10, I'd suggest a used V20 (unless you are lucky enough to find a new one). LG fixed the bootloop issues, so that isn't a concern with it. It's also still the best total package in my opinion, even over the V30. The V30 took away multiple features, and is just an otherwise minor spec bump over the V20. My V20 from the initial release still runs like a champ.

I would say look for a V30 promotion or a Pixel 2XL promotion. Too bad you just missed out on the Pixel 2XL promotion a week or so ago.

I agree with you - the V20 would be a great option!

Thanks I'll check out the v20 then... I'm just not sure how I feel about LG right now

For what it's worth, I'm kind of in the same boat. The V30 would be a downgrade for me, and their designs are moving to imitate SamApple. I have no plans to get the V40 either, unless they come out with something killer that I can't do without (which isn't likely).

But they did hit it out of the park with the V20.

I'm more a fan of Samsung, so I would suggest you check out J5 2017, as i think it's a very reliable and affordable smartphone.
