Phone taking forever to charge

I bought a Huawei Ascend Y300 today and started using it(the battery had charge on it) and then plugged it into the pc and now taking forever to charge. It has been 3-5 hrs and it is still at 80%. Is this faulty? or is this normal... this is taking way too long

Pc USB ports generally supply less power than an AC adapter. I don't know the mah of the battery of this device but I'd say that 4 hours to be at 80% is decent.

You may need a higher amp charger.
