Phone tripod

Anyone know of a tripod (not too pricey) That will hold a Galaxy note 3?
Also would a homemade cardboard hood cut glare for shooting on a sunny day? Anyone tried it l?

Hmmm... I know of a few things that kinda fit what you're looking for, I guess...

1. There's Joby's GripTight XL mount which you can use to secure a large phone to a tripod or one of their own GorillaPods, that's about $30, I think.
2. Then there's the Square Jellyfish Spring Tripod Mount, which is about the same price.
3. There's also the RetiCAM Smartphone Tripod Mount, around the same price, and it has some additional stuff you need to specifically ask for for phablets.
